I. PREAMBLE:

This Draft Annual Indicative Programme (AIP) of activities of the Peace and Security Council (PSC) of the African Union (AU) for 2026 has been developed based on the conflict/crisis situations the PSC is still seized with, mandatory activities of the PSC, including renewal of mandates of various AU peace support operations and missions, and other statutory activities of the PSC, such as retreats, joint consultative meetings with similar organizations, as well as meetings which the PSC may decide to hold, from time to time, on issues relating to the promotion of peace, security and stability in Africa.
